I am thinking about Mass Effect and now I MUST ask: have you written anything for Mass Effect? (I'd be soooo interested on your take on fem!ShepxLiara)
okay. so. the answer is yes, i just never posted it. i have about 2/3rds of a fanfic of my sheppard (gale sheppard) with sides of liara and garrus shipping that i wrote.... probably in 2016? and like. i found it/reread it probably a year or two ago and i for the life of me couldn't remember what missions it was referencing and stuff so i doubt i'd ever finish it.
that being said, i did buy the remaster of the trilogy and have yet to play it (because im waiting for when i write the scifi novel i have on the backburner and wanna be In That Zone), so when i do play it it's possible ill write something new or find some way to round that off. still not sure if i'll post it tho.
(for those who dont know) bioware fic in general is very different from, say, spop fic, because you have a cast of familiar characters everyone has their own interpretation on (normal) and then seven times out of ten the main character is essentially an OC you're first being introduced to in the fic (not something ive ever seen in another one of my fandoms, though im sure its an rpg thing, i know it happens in sdv fic), who may follow familiar patterns in some ways because they're based off the dialogue/choice options canon gives us, but they may be totally different and the fic even changes canon (i very closely follow canon in spop because canon is Good but in bioware we play a little fast and loose 😂 i'll never accept the destroy ending killing the geth or fucking up the relays/citadel more than temporarily).
it's a really interesting dynamic due to it being an rpg fandom, and i definitely enjoyed mass effect/dragon age fic when i read it, but it would be very different from what i Posted before (i also have unfinished dragon age fic of my inquisitors, in addition to the one i have posted about solas being a dingus)
