oh my lord. i just finished the first (complete) draft of chapter 1 🥹
its currently standing at around 8K words, which im happy with. but the pacing feels off and urgh, BUT ITS DONE. i can finally move on with my life (for now). i alreadu have around 900 words written for chapter 2, but i feel like im on a roll!! WOHOO!!!

so im offically on summer break but ive still been feeling pretty shitty and stressed and i have not locked in yet. god i wish i had lock in medicine but what can you do. im coming to terms with the fact that i wont be able to finish it all by october, most likely, but ill try to finish chapters in order so that when the 22nd arrives ill be able to post on schedule. shout out to my friends who've promised to beta read for me and listen to my rambles about plot points and whatnot. ill try to write tomorrow, chapter 1 is absolutely kicking my ass for some stupid reason but i feel like once i finish it, the rest will come more easily

tragic news, i am two weeks into my summer break and i havent had an oppertunity to really sit down and write due to employment... horrifying stuff. its only for the rest of this week and the next though so hopefully ill be able to get something done soon!! also the first chapter is kicking my asss but i dont want to continue until thats done, i want to at least try to write these in chronological order
i used to NEVER make themed playlists, i just listened to whatever was ringing in my head at the moment, but im taking this project so childishly seriously so im making a playlist to get into the proper headspace once i start the true writing process. not that theres anything wrong with that, its just so new for me i feel a little silly :] especially when theres nothing to show for this hyperfixation of my own vigilante izuku fic project yet. siighhhhh one day. one day.

im not the best artist but i want to put my heart and soul into this so ill work on the uh livliness?? and composition and such. wish me luck
i have like... rughly 40 pages of notes and scenes prepared, but im planning on going into the proper writing phase during my summer break. that would leave me like 4 ish months to write the entire fic and that might not be enough but im praying to GOD it is. AND!!! im getting my diagnosis soon so maybe (im delusional) ill get like meds that make me able to concentrate for longer than 5 minutes at a time.
edit: no lock in medicine for me :( yes im using this tag as a sort of log for the writing process, i doubt anyone will see it but if you actually ARE reading this then uh. hi!!
