When Lilith had sought out Lucifer, determined to rescue her, to drag her back from where He had placed her, she hadn’t expected the mission to turn out like this. Primarily she hadn’t expected Lucifer to be confined to the mortal body of a teenager, nor had she expected the process of her...remembering who and what she was to be such a long and arduous journey, that, for all intents and purposes, at least according to that little legal document, Lilith would be required to act as...adoptive mother for the time being.
Technically speaking, at least, but in reality, she was still only a loyal friend, a loyal follower, acting as mentor, as a guide, at most. Or so it had been that way, until the very moment she discovered Aurora climbing through a window. Lilith looked at her in utter disbelief.
“I’m sorry, did you...sneak out?” The proof was there, plan and undeniable to see. Lilith shook her head, “You really took yourself somewhere, without telling me, and then....intended to sneak back in, hiding it all from me? From start to finish?” She frowned at Aurora, “You do remember that I’m not...actually your Mother?”
