NAHUM S.O.A.P. ~ CHAPTER 1
Monday, 7/13/26
Once again, not paying attention to the length of what we've been reading leads us to another "minor" prophet - this time Nahum... (which is only three chapters long... which means Habakkuk on Thursday?)
SCRIPTURE:
"I'll snap your chains and set you free from the Assyrians.” ~ Nahum 1:13
OBSERVATION:
He will - has - snapped my chains...
...and set me free...
...from the Assyrians of my sins...
...through Jesus...
Will I embrace that freedom?
Or will I remain in the broken links of those snapped chains?
APPLICATION:
Shake off and walk out of the broken links...
Celebrate my freedom...
...in and through Him...
PRAYER:
Freeing Father God - You know how I find myself wallowing in the broken chains of my selfish and sinful wants and willfulness... I ask Your forgiveness and strength to shake them from my feet and follow You more closely, to not allowing them to become an excuse for continued stumbling along Your way - Thank You for the freedom You so freely give through Jesus - May I seek Your direction in all things today, surrendering to Your will and purposes - In Jesus's Name, and for Your honor and glorious praise...
