The world was saved again. What the hell was he doing coming around looking for Dustin for? ❝Don’t, uh, take this the wrong way, Harrington, but don’t you have friends, like, your own age? What happened to Tommy and Carol?❞

   RONI would be the first to admit that she didn’t really know the inner workings of the popular crowd. She knew who they were, and knew that they looked down on her. She didn’t really care. ❝In any case, Dustin is over at Mike’s. Can I help you with something?❞

                    “You’re gonna tell me where my idiot of a fucking brother is right now.”

            Not the nicest way to greet your brother’s roommate in their apartment, but Sana didn’t care. With her backpack slung over her shoulder she shoved passed the other and into the living room. The bag made a loud thunk as it hit the floor by the couch. She crossed her arms over her chest, frowning, sizing up Steve Harrington with a swipe of her gaze. She softened a little, looking away as if suddenly self-conscious that she was acting like a brat. Sana hooked a strand of hair behind her ear.

                   “...I’ll get you a free coffee or something if you do.”

   it had been a while since she had seen anyone - since she had seen anybody. Surely she was still doing the services , and with the holiday season falling quiet , there was no need for the church to be open other than the regular Sunday services and special occasions. She wasn’t able to see anyone anymore , not since her father had found out about her escapades and going out doing God knows what without him knowing. The new lock on the door , the new glass windows were a new addition , ( saying how they had a break in , he told the new contractors. but this was all to protect her. ) That didn’t stop her from trying though , as hands shake to undo the lock so she can at least get a few moments of freedom. 

   a frustrated noise of complaint   , but she had gotten it open ,  and she wasn’t expecting at all for someone to be standing there.

Murphy just raises an eyebrow when the guy comments on the fact that no one's dancing. Who the fuck comes to these kinds of parties to dance? Maybe if they're drunk enough, or as an excuse to grind up on a girl or something but jesus, this guy seriously has his priorities out of order. Murphy takes a pull from his beer as the guy - Steve - sticks out his hand to shake. Uh huh. Total midwest loser. Since it would be kind of pathetic to leave him hanging, Murphy gives Steve's hand a quick shake, then settles it back on his lap. "Murphy," he offers, because no stranger is getting his first name. "And what's wrong? Don't I look like I'm having the time of my life?" As if to make his point for him, some drunken girl stumbles over his feet, spilling some beer on his pants. Fantastic. "I'm going out back." And before Steve can reply Murphy's up and walking towards the backyard, already pulling a cigarette from his pocket. He wishes he'd never come here in the first place.

“Rome! Romeo, no! Steve is a friend!” She exclaimed, patting the dog’s hindquarters, calming his barking and glancing at Steve. “Sorry, he’s protective....he’s a sweetheart though, I promise.” She motioned for her friend to come closer as Romeo watched curiously and cautiously, huffing at the newcomer.

                     “Is this seriously fuckin’ happening right now?”

         Chai stands with his hands crossed atop his head in clear distress. The car he had been given by Lara had decided to unexpectedly die in the middle of nowhere. Chai had tried in vain to revive it, but the tendrils of smoke coming from the engine said it was cooked. A sign a few feet from their position at the side of the road says there is a town nearby. Chai drops his arms with a sigh and pulls out the cell phone from his pocket. 

                   “...And no service. Where the hell even are we?”

        In the middle of nowhere, probably. Chai wanted to take a trip up to Niagara Falls. It was just a six hour drive, nothing crazy. But somewhere along the line the GPS decided to take them in the entirely wrong direction and now they were in nowheresville, upstate New York. Nothing fun or interesting out here. Population of ten people and maybe three cows. Or at least that’s how it seemed to Chai. He rubs the bridge of nose, feeling a headache coming on in time with the throbbing of his hip. The sign is there to mock him. 

       Chai digs into the back of the car and pulls out his backpack. They’re not going to be able to push the thing along. He hangs by the car, reluctant to start the trek. 

                “Wanna start walking or...take our chances someone will pass by?”
