How to Use a Nail Filer?

How to File Your Nails?

1.      Cut your nails taking into consideration the nail shape you want.

2.      Hold the nail file parallel to the side of the nail when you begin to file.

3.      Now hold the filer perpendicular to the tip of the nail and start filing the nails from side to center. Filing at any other angle weakens the nail and there is always a chance of it breaking.

4.      File your nail from the side to the center in one direction only using a smooth fluid motion.

5.      You should never saw your nails in a back and forth direction. This will cause the nails to peel and break.

6.      Finish filing by holding the file parallel to the other side of the nail from which you began.

7.      You can now file the nails at the center depending on what shape you want.

8.      Finish off by removing any nail filings attached to the nail. Now, you can apply cuticle oil and give it a gentle massage to moisturize and keep it healthy.

File your nails at least once a month to maintain its proper shape.
