Gulu-Kampala-Nairobi-Mombasa-Watamu-Nairobi
Okay first of all WOW lots of stuff has happened since my last update in quick point form I shall list them now:
-Met with Invisible Children in Gulu which was awesome and met with other organizations including CVAP -3 out of the 4 buses Lubabah and I took from Gulu to get to Nairobi broke down -Getting to Nairobi was crazy but Glennys and Graham totally helped us out and let us stay with them and fed us and let us take hot showers!!! first time this whole trip I've been able to take a hot shower! lol and give us a delicious dinner and we watched a movie and had some drinks so refreshing after being a bus for like 28 hours. -Mombasa was awesome some of met there and partied at a karaoke bar which was so awesome! -Watamu the most beautiful place I've seen seriously, think of like beaches with white sand and clear blue water and yeah it's amazing. - In Watamu I decided to eat fish so had Barracuda, Shrimp, and Callimari and they were actually really good, not sure what I'm gonna do about my whole being "vegetarian" anymore to be honest. Got a henna tattoo of an octopus to commemorate the eating of the flesh lol. Swam in the Indian Ocean for hours (that's 3 Oceans for me). May have gotten a sunburn not quite sure on that jury is still out lol. Bought a ridiculously amazing pants that we like to refer to as Afro-fab I'll post pictures as soon as I can. That's all I can remember for right now but yeah almost everyone left today which is so sad :( I miss you guys!!! This trip has been everything and more that I wanted and I've learned so much about myself and the world and I guess people as well. So from the Nairobi Youth Hostel where this whole trip started, good bye for now I have ten days in Kenya before I fly to Rome trying to figure out with my time and my limited funds.
