The Jedi, the Impostor and the Child

Hello there! 🤗 A while ago I had idea for this fic and I finally managed to write and publish it! This fic is going to include some violence towards kids, so you may want to skip those parts (or click back), if it's uncomfortable/triggering for you. And one more thing! I decided to put all my Plo Koon-centred fics into series called "Tales of the Plo Koon!". As title says, it's going to be about Plo Koon. Fics may or not be connected, it can be set in AUs, include shipping, e.t.c. Anyway I hope, you'll enjoy this fic! ❤️

Summary: Plo Koon comes to the planet Shili. According to the transmission there is a Force sensitive child. However after speaking with the Gantika, chief and the elder of the village, Plo Koon learns that there is already a Jedi here. But is that person a true Jedi?

Togruta horns

Did you know that the same species can look different depending on their environment, diet, and many other reasons?

At first, I thought Ahsoka's dad, Nak-il, was just a young twink underdog kind of guy with not fully developed horns. And that Pav-ti finds him cute and handsome anyway. But judging from the male in the background that’s just how males look in this area. He doesn’t have to feel insecure.

ahsoka's parents (pav-ti and nak-il) and the village elder (gantika) are the only other named togruta characters in "life and death", but aren't credited with last names, so now i wonder if "tano" could be the name of ahsoka's tribe/village or if it's some sort of status name

no no no NONE of you understand how unwell I am about Pav-ti and Nak-il. how proud they must’ve been to hear about her heroics during the Clone Wars. I wonder how they would have felt about Anakin and all the stuff he did while training Ahsoka. did they meet Plo or not. the fact that they must’ve thought that Ahsoka was dead after Order 66. whether or not they found out that Ahsoka was still alive during Rebels time. UGH.

Ahsoka’s Parents

I try to guess as much about Nak-il's personality as I can.

From this clip we can see how outgoing and unashamed he is about his feelings. He shakes hands with people and hugs them. A father losing his mind and him being overjoyed about the birth of his kid, especially the first one, is a very popular trope and true in real life. 

There are two possibilities:

1. Nak-il and his wife are very liked and popular. That's why all of the village come to see their daughter.

2. This one is more likely. It's a small community. They all know each other. If anybody else were having a baby they would've done the same thing.

He seems to be less traditional than his wife. But it's not like he's totally against it. He just questions the logic of bringing a one-year-old baby to a hunt. (Do any of you remember what you did when you were that small? Because I don't.)

He isn't even overprotective. Nak-ti just asks his wife ''Are you sure?'' and when she says ''Yes.'' he just wishes her good luck. He trusts his wife 100% percent.

Pav-te must've felt terrible for losing her daughter as anybody would. But especially after being warned and, in a way, betraying her husband's trust. But Nak-il isn't angry. He's just as sad and comforts his wife.

He would've been such an embarrassingly adoring father to Ahsoka. Makes me wonder what happened to him and Pav-ti. I hope they didn't refuse to have more children after the incident in the woods and after having to give up Ahsoka to the Jedi. Can you imagine Ahsoka having a brother, a sister, or multiple siblings?
