WIP Big Bang/WIP Reverse Bang 2026 - Round 4 Of Fic Claims & Art Claims Are Now Open
Round Four (aka the last round of claims) is live about ten minutes early. You may claim as many fic/art projects as you want this round (and you may also claim for both fic and art…you aren't limited to one or the other), as there will be no pinch hit claiming round as of the 2026 round. Please double-check the numbers before you submit the projects you want to claim! Also, if you want to claim more than one project you need to fill out the form separately for each project with a unique Check-In ID each time. Because the previous round went up so late, the end of claims for Round 4 is August 16th.
WIP Big Bang/WIP Reverse Bang 2026 - Round 3 Of Fic Claims & Art Claims Are Now Open
Round Three of art claims for WIP Big Bang/fic claims for WIP Reverse Bang is now open! You may claim three fic projects and/or three art projects this round, and you may claim something for both events (ie, you can claim a fic for WIPBB as well as an art project for WIPRB). We currently have 99 projects up for art claims for WIPBB and 6 projects up for fic claims for WIPRB.
The forms to fill out with your choices are at the top of the pages linked below. The linked pages have the synopsis of each project as well as links to snippets for the art projects; once a project is claimed the project will be crossed out on the form and emails will be sent to both the claimer and the WIPBB/WIPRB participant. Please fill out the forms you fill out with a unique check-in IDs for your claims submission if you are already participating in WIPRB as an artist or WIPBB as an artist/author, as well as if you are claiming a fic and an art project.

WIP Big Bang/WIP Reverse Bang 2026 - Snippets Submissions Now Closed
Snippets submissions are now closed! We had 134 snippets submitted for WIPBB and 15 snippets submitted for WIPRB. If you need to make adjustments you have until the 16th to email them to [email protected]. Please put the fandom and fic title in the subject line if you need to make changes because once the coding is made for the claims I now longer have the individual Check-In IDs attached to each entry.
WIP Big Bang/WIP Reverse Bang 2026 - Snippets Collection Extended Twenty-Four Hours
So for anyone not on Discord, I had laptop issues that would have potentially changed the claims schedule dramatically, but fortunately it seems to have been resolved. However, since I want to be sure I'll have a working laptop to send out claims emails I'm going to extend snippets submissions to 11:59 PM July 13th and we'll keep the rest of the schedule as the same with the first round of claims starting on the 17th with one claim per person that round. If the laptop craps out again, I will update with whatever the modified schedule because someone is sending me a laptop I can use as a backup (bless them).

TWO DAY WARNING!
Snippets collection for both WIP Big Bang and WIP Reverse Bang is now open. Please only submit snippets if you are reasonable sure you will finish your project before January 1st, 2027. WIPBB participants need to submit at least one (but preferably up to three) snippets between 500 to 1500 words each. WIPRB participants need to submit at least one snippet (but no more than three) of their project uploaded to an independent hosting site.
Because snippets went up a day late, we're going to extend snippets collection to July 12th, which gives you two more days to get everything in! The form will (hopefully) be closed at 11:59 PM PST that evening so you have just under 48 hour to get everything submitted.
