I will be honest, i forgot where this was, but it was during our Nakasendo walk. The old japanese style door, the wood skinned Vending machine and colorful drinks and a rock seat by the side to cool yourself and take the load of from a long walk.

Photo of the Day: You've got Mail

Taken on the Nakasendo, Gifu Prefecture. There is an old mountain walking highway used to connect Kyoto with Edo, modern day Tokyo. The part of the road called, “Kiso Road” or “Kisoji” is still intact in Gifu and Nagano Prefectures. Some of the old towns are also intact. Here is an old post-office box along the route. I love these roads.
