Leh Ladakh Ride in August 2022 | Jispa - Baralacha La Pass - NakeeLa Pass - Lachung La Pass | EP-02

Hello, Everyone on day 2 we started our Journey from jispa Himachal Pradesh. At first, we have to go through the Darcha Check post which is around 5 Km from Jispa. After that, we took our next break on Baralacha La Pass which is about 16000 Feet from sea level. We finished our journey on day two at debring which is around 130 Km away from Leh due to heavy rain and extremely cold temperature because debring has an elevation of about 15000 feet.

on the way to debring we also crossed two passes: Nakeela Pass ( 15547 ) and LachungLa Pass ( 16161 ).

The pass is traversed by the Manali-Leh-Highway, on the way to Manali from Taglang La. Nakee la Pass is third of the five passes to be crossed while traveling from Manali to Leh. It is between Sarchu and Pang. The surface of the road is paved, but includes some gravel sections. Avalanches, heavy snowfalls and landslides can occur anytime and can sometimes block some sections of the road, being extremely dangerous due to frequent patches of ice. The ascent to the pass is called 'Gata loops'. || The Himalayan blue sheep or naur, also known as bharal, barhal, bharar and bharut in Hindi, na or sna in Ladakh, nabo in Spitian, naur in Nepali and na or gnao in Bhutan is a caprid found in the high Himalayas of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, and Pakistan. They are of goat species. The most striking part of them is the charcoal colored stripe that seperates their grey back and white belly. The ears are small, and the bridge of the nose is dark. The horns are found in both sexes, however In males, they look somewhat like an upside-down moustache. Also, due to their camaflouge capable body and the lack of cover in their environment, bharal remain motionless when approached. Once they have been noticed, however, they run towards the nearest cliffs, where they once again freeze, using camouflage to blend into the rock face.
