Tale of Nine Tailed / Theory

Imoogi / Imugi:  

 A hornless ocean dragon, sometimes equated with a sea serpent. Imugi literally means, "Great Lizard". The legend of the Imugi says that the sun god gave the Imoogi their power through a human girl, which would be transformed into the Imoogi on her 17th birthday. Legend also said that a dragon-shaped mark would be found on the shoulder of the girl, revealing that she was the Imugi in human form.

At the end of episode 2 and the beginning of episode 3, we see Nam Ji-a (Jo Bo-Ah) with a mark that reminds of a snakeskin or dragon scale, which might indicate she has a connection with Imoogi, Lee Yeon’s infamous enemy. 

In the following episode, Lee Yeon even mentions that Ah-Eum had the same mark before she died. What might that mean?

Ah-Eum was perhaps a vessel of Imoogi before the ocean dragon gained its powers.

Ah-Eum was perhaps Imoogi herself or a descendent of it.

All of those small hints they spread into the episodes make me excited and curious about the upcoming episodes.
