RO third beta came to end, and 27th of february will be head start - i’m so excited >w<

Fortunately name reservation went good for me. My BF saved ‘Niriko’ for me ~

And my SS got a lil makeover but i’m a bit unhappy with her hairstyle - like in every game i can’t decide... I bet i will need dozens of makeover tickets xD

Hi Caeli! Did you get the names you wanted for BnS? What do you think about the drama over name reservations?

Well I really wanted to be just “Caeli” for once but someone beat me to it! It’s okay though - I’ve used some variant every game I played so I’m not too torn over it :)

I feel like name drama is bound to happen over the popular names. I do think the GMs should get pick over everyone else but I don’t understand why they don’t do “GM_whatever” instead. I know Julianne said they’ve tried that before and it didn’t work out? I didn’t read through her whole post.

I do think it was stupid for the community manager to say he/she didn’t care if his/her actions impacted the community. That’s just adding fuel to the fire and quite honestly goes to show NCSOFT probably needs some training in that area or at least more rigorous rules on how employees communicate with the community. Despite Twitter being a personal platform and yes you can say anything you want; a community manager is a representative and I feel like they failed on this aspect in being graceful about how things were handled.

Of course you can’t make everyone happy and everyone wishes they got the name they wanted. But it is what it is and really there is no point in trying to bully people into giving up names or trying to shame NCSOFT into changing how names were handled.

With that being said I hope everyone at least got a name they were satisfied with and won’t let this ruin the experience of the game moving forward. I hope to meet many people on the 15th~

PS: you can use accents in your name so I’m sure you can get some variant of the name you’d like to use!
