Main highlight of ‘The Great Wall’ and the real hero of the film : Commander Lin Mae (Jing Tian) of the Nameless Order of the Song Dynasty.

Say what you will about this film (a guilty pleasure of mine, despite its flaws), but the costume design was phenomenal.

I don’t care what the critics say, it’s awesome! If you actually watch the film, you’ll realize that the main character is actually the fearsome educated female Chinese commander, Lin Mae of the Song Dynasty (played by Jing Tian). And there’s no romance of any sort in this one. Purely action packed fighting. Besides, watching Oberyn Martell from Game of Thrones kicking ass is pure gold. And if you like 47 Ronin, Dracula Untold, Immortals or 300, then this movie is for you.
