A Company Name Generator that actually works!
Our previous post covered about the main domain name generators which are fast and simple.
Moreover, these don't have any limits. They are using whole wide world of internet, linguistics and other techniques to generate names. These are perfect for brainstorming and looking for some inspiration.
But sometimes one might not want that kind of brainstorming and would want it to limit to some set of keywords of concept. This is generally the case in naming a company. The keyword space might be confined to the domain or expertise of the company. With so much of overlapping in domain and competition in the market, finding a company name has become a challenge.
A company name has to be short, brandable, marketable and a dozens of other things. Its the first thing you use to introduce yourself to everyone including customers and investors. But most importantly it should be available as well, especially with a COM domain.
To solve this problem, We decided that we needed something different, a custom solution that only concentrates on company names. And we built it!
The NameMESH Generator, which allows user to:
1) Specify their concept(s) with a set of their chosen key word(s) in, what we call a word bucket. Since, most good names only have 1 to 2 degree of conceptual inference in them, we decided to limit it to at most 2 buckets. A company name is generated by merging the keyword(s) in bucket 1 with the keyword(s) in bucket 2.
2) We didn't wanted to completely turn off the inspiration switch. So, we decided we will give you some key word suggestions based on the key word you chose.
3) We decided to fine tune this generator for company names, by providing two generators. Combinations - which generates all possible combinations out of the keywords without compromising SEO. And Hack Generator - which does a lot of hacks to find a good company name.
