Namiashi Raidou Headcanon

His facial scars aren’t acid burns. 

It’s from lightning based chakra that glanced off one side of his face, surged through the point of contact, and bubbled across his skin to the other cheek. 

Headcanon to my headcanon -- It was a complete accident. Kakashi knows the second worse feeling to exist next to killing a teammate. And that’s permanently disfiguring a teammate with his own hand.

Also a few months shy of the 3 year anniversary of the last time I drew him! Interesting to see the changes in my art!

Raidō Namiashi

Not much else is known about Raidō's background except for the fact he is regarded highly for his assassination skills.  He is also an elite guard to the Hokage. During his time serving under the Fourth Hokage, he was taught the Flying Thunder Formation Technique, the seal for which the Hokage Guard Platoon have marked on the Fifth Hokage, so that they can travel to her at any time.

Hello! My vacation’s been great so far — I’ve taken a few walks around the village, and spent a lot more time at home than I have in months. It’s nice to be able to take a breath and enjoy the village like I did as a genin. 

We should plan on catching up, though! I’ve not heard much of what you’ve been doing lately.

Heh, you make it sound like anything's been different, but now that things are more peaceful it seems the older generation has an easier time as the younger ones come into action. I'm still fairly young, yet somehow I'm receding into the background with you guys. But it's kind of nice, taking a breath and having more time to myself.
