❧ do you believe in an afterlife?

To an extent I believe that there’s something after death though I’ve never believed so much in the concept of heaven or hell. In a sense I believe in reincarnation more so that something like heaven. But I also believe there’s a in between for those who want to stay how they are ( like ghosts ) and decide against being reborn. I’d just like to think that everyone is offered a second chance after death. You don’t decide how you’re born, or the life you live – in a sense things simply happen for a reason. You could have the worst life, with nothing but sorrow but it doesn’t mean you deserve it. So I think we are offered a second chance.

         ”Last time I tried something new? Well, that’d be about a few days ago.. three? I saw how many of my close ones like books; mom, hyung, my girlfriend-- and I thought I could try to read too, I haven’t really read any books aside school books and I gotta say, noona’s books may be a little cheesy (or maybe it’s my fault for choosing the one with the prettiest cover) but they are kinda intersting to read. Who knows, maybe I’ll get the spike and begin reading regularly... most likely not.”

The sudden question startled her. “Bad habits?” Her brows raised, hand pulling away from her mouth immediately while she folded her finger in to hide the current state of her nails. “Ah.. honestly.. I think the only one I really want to break is biting my nails..” A frown crossed her features as she stared at her loose fist. “I mean.. it happens, but I always need to get fake ones put on for work and that’s getting too expensive..” Mogami sighed, glancing up at the tall male. “If I could stop biting them so much.. I think I would be able to save quite a lot of money.. and it could be spent on much more fun things..”

It was unexpected to receive any question at all, because those that saw her only ever seemed interested in her appearance, rather than any aspect of her inner-self. “A wish?” A brow quirked up, hiding behind her blonde fringe at the question, just a moment before her brows furrowed together behind the curtain of her light coloured hair. “Well that’s simple..” She mumbled, shifting her weight from foot to foot, a smile tugging up at the corners of her lips. “I really wish life were simpler, kind of like.. like, more like games. But not like those games where you can easily die! I just mean, you know.. there’s always realistic quests you can finish and objects you can obtain.” Mogami let out a soft sigh through her nose, lifting her hands to imitate a scale, trying to show an imbalance of real-life to her ideal. “I mean.. I know that you can work hard in life and earn things, like money, and trade out your moneys for any objects you desire.. but sometimes in life you don’t get the job you want, or the one you need.. and it’s very, very unfair to get stuck in a place like that.” The smile drooped from her face, hands slipping down to her sides as she realized that she probably was not making much sense. “I just really wish.. life could be easier.. because then everyone could be happy.. you know? Wouldn’t that be nice? If more people could be happy?”

What did you want to be when you were a kid?

“In all honesty, I really did want to become a singer since a very young age. I always enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, and I even picked up dancing later on. My dream was finalized when I got accepted into a company prior to being in SM today.”

Awkward silence ensues after he nods a few times when he’s finished talking. He clears his throat, and then continues with a soft chuckle.

“But if we’re talking about when I was, like, five… then Goku. I wanted to be Goku.”

Why was he here when they clearly don’t like to affiliate with each other? was the first thought that came to mind when she was the familiar figure. Hyesun wasn’t the type to waste energy on someone she disliked, she would just act as if the person didn’t exist. What she didn’t know was how highly intoxicated she was, ignoring the wrong person. After countless times of trying to avoid the other, she couldn’t help but start to feel annoyed. “I’m sorry to be extremely rude to you right now.. but could you leave?” she says with cheeks flushed and slurred out speech.

“Change a single thing..?” She puffs up her cheeks, “I don’t think I would want to change a single thi-- Oh.. Wait...” She laughs sheepishly and tucks some hair behind her ear, “Maybe not meeting two people that I might have had a crush on. That would most likely something I would change! What about you?”
