Let's start with her, a "very naughty sheep" as she was named by the grandson himself!
Mrs. Nana Noodleman ❤️❤️
Oh, Nana.
Whether as a name or nickname always dear to me, and despite the known difference I could not but pay homage to our Noodleman with a young her. 🩷
Was she already a very bad sheep? 🤔
Series 9 Post 14: Could she ever, miss, our beloved Nana?
How could I ever not include her in this series and, more importantly, dedicate a flower of her own?
The Mayflower or Golden Shower, is not only the tree of witches or giver of branches suitable for forging strong and deadly bows but also, a flower capable of also taking on the meaning of welcome, abandoned or thoughtful beauty.
Series 17 post 16: What can I say? This time NSFW is coming across many older women who know how to be much more fascinating than many young ones. Could this be the case with Miss Noodleman too? 👀💕
Series 11 Post 2: I begin with a color that, among many, I love: Red, is the color of life, it is the color of blood flowing in our body, without it there would be no life. The color red conveys energy, vitality, enthusiasm, determination, spontaneity, willpower, courage and independence. Using this color makes us more decisive and full of enthusiasm. Red is a warm and energizing color; it is the color of passion and love. King of colors for attracting attention, red is often used in road signs and advertising slogans. It has become the emblem of holidays such as Christmas and Valentine's Day.
Today Nana Noodleman as...
Series 6 Post 18: Muse who presides over eloquence and epic poetry; so called from the ecstatic harmony of her voice. Hesiod and Ovid called her the "Chief of all Muses".
🌸 The name Calliope means "with a beautiful voice".
🌸 Daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne and mother of Orpheus and Linus, had by Apollo. Other authors speak of the sole motherhood of Orpheus who according to others was instead the son of Eagro. Apollodorus also adds Rhesus to Calliope's progeny and specifies that the father was Strymon; while Strabo adds the Corybantes and indicates Zeus as their father.
🌸 Considered the eldest of the Muses, she was also the goddess of eloquence, which she bestowed upon kings and princes. In older art she is depicted holding a lyre while in the classical era, when the Muses were assigned to specific artistic spheres she was elected Muse of epic poetry and was therefore often portrayed holding a wax tablet and a stylus or a scroll; in this capacity she is invoked by Homer in the Iliad and the Odyssey; Dante Alighieri in the Divine Comedy invokes it in the II canto of the Inferno and in the I canto of Purgatory.
🌸 It is said that Zeus appointed the muse Calliope as judge in the dispute between Aphrodite and Persephone over the beautiful Adonis. Calliope decided that Adonis should spend half the year with Aphrodite and the other half with Persephone. But the goddess of love was not satisfied with this arrangement and so she drove the Thracian women mad, and they killed Orpheus.
Series 5 post 20: Even though her nephew Eddie has said of her that she is a very bad sheep, Nana Noodleman has proven to be the kindest and most supportive person in the world.
A lover of fine fabrics that caress her skin and pamper her delicately, this charming woman delights in garments that highlight her silhouette without ever making her appear either too old or too vulgar.
“𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝒅𝒂𝒚𝒔, 𝑴𝒓. 𝑴𝒐𝒐𝒏.
𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒕.
𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔, 𝒊𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝒑𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒘𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄."
I literally loved drawing Nana, especially going crazy behind the fur 😂
