#nancy drew?

Thank heavens they passed on this. CBS decided that they won't go forward with a planned Nancy Drew reboot that would follow the detective now in her 30's. I'm sorry but that would be a little like saying, "Let's do a Flintstones reboot, but they aren't from the stone age."  

I guess the relative success of Elementary led them to consider it.

Of course, we think the eternally teenaged detective should have been rebooted back in the mid 1940s with a certain stylish teenager playing the title role. She already had a ready made sidekick.

Hello,Allow me to introduce myself. I am yet another jez commenter who followed the exodus to tumblr. I have been lurking a long time on my favourite ex-jezzies' tumblrs and decided to join last week before I felt too much like a creep. I was georgia may fayne on jez. I had been ignorant of there being a Nancy Drew character of a similar name so I got a new name for here. I really liked your comments on jez and your images, opinions and sourcing ethics here are impressive to me. Please don't judge my ignorance of Nancy Drew harshly;)

BTW: Have you seen the Jez roll call? Lots of names you might recognize there.
