I really like your IF so far! MC's family is awful, but I really like Nancy and the other servants. I'm sure Nancy makes MC feel less alone. At least that's how I felt with my MC.
Also I liked Sebastian as well. I do like the idea of him being MCs friend, but my brain also wants to romance him even tho he isn't an RO lol. I did assume that the comment about his mother playing matchmaker eluded to him maybe being a hidden RO lol. Whatever you decide to do with him down the road, I know it'll be great.
Also I'm staying reserved in it because we haven't met the other suitors yet. I am excited for that. ❤️
You are spot on. I had the idea of Sebastian possibly being a secret RO, and Lady Harrow's matchmaking was one way that I was thinking of having the heiress and Sebastian bonding.
Nancy is definitely someone who the heiress can be herself with. Since Augusta kept the heiress away from the world, Nancy has been the only real friend she has made, so far.
That's the best way to be, you never know someone may not be your cup of tea on paper, but surprise you in the story.
All the main ROs will be introduced during the Season chapters. Jo might make an appearance too, since they're in society. But Baxter won't be met until on the Duty route as they live at the Duke's country estate, and Nell lives in Mistvale so cannot be met until on the Freedom route.
Sebastian will be in the next chapter, and he will meet the heiress in person.
