I hord is your borth. Here to give you tradishonal Rossian borthday celebrations. Forst, we kill entire fleet of ships from enemy. We do so by deploying the bears. Nobody fucks with bears. Next, when all bears are safe and accounted for, and there are no sorviving enemies, we eat borscht and cuddle yaks. Then we set off fiarworks and bask in the glory of the pretty lights and the glory of morder. You will then be carried back home by bears who will tuck you into bed and read you stories. Gn ily

To the last anon who asked for some of your Abbottom headcanons you said that if we wanted more/different headcanons we could ask again. And I thought since it's Valentine's day would you maybe want to give us some Abbottom Valentine's or just romance headcanons?

(this got a little difficult because all of my first thoughts are things that’ll come up in From the Earth and I don’t want to, like, spoil here but hopefully you enjoy what I came up with!)

They’re both very tactile people so they hold hands all the time (and other body parts too when they can get away with it)

They also spoon almost every night. Hannah’s usually the big spoon but they switch it up fairly often.

When they go out with friends they’re usually the first ones to leave and everyone thinks it’s because they’re such homebodies (which they are) but it’s also because when they get all dressed up it drives each other crazy

This also leads to them being late a fair amount

Whenever they get a day to themselves they spend it lazing around in bed with no pants on, entertaining themselves by talking, reading, listening to the wireless, and other activities…

One of Hannah’s favorite places to kiss Neville is on his chest

Neville loves kissing the back of Hannah’s neck, nuzzling her hair as he does

Both while she’s working under Tom and after she takes over, Hannah decorates the Leaky Cauldron for every holiday including Valentine’s Day

She also likes to make themed desserts for each holiday and tests them out on Neville

So they basically end up celebrating for nearly two months as they’re surrounded by sweets and garlands of pink and red hearts

However because the Leaky Cauldron is a fairly popular destination on the day itself and Neville has to oversee things at Hogwarts, they never end up actually celebrating together until the following week.

Neville does a fair amount of experimenting with plants at Hogwarts and one thing he does annually is attempt to make a new flower for Hannah that mimics something she loves (a scent, a color, the shape of things like butterflies, etc.)

Hannah makes Neville a card every year and usually there’s something she thinks is wrong with it that she fixates on until he kisses her.

Hannah also likes to buy Neville underwear with fun sayings on them. He’s less fond of them but goes along with it because he loves seeing her so amused.

“All I’m saying is that girls never get to have fun underwear, it’s always got to be sexy, never witty. I’m living vicariously through you!”

Neville is horrible at cooking and basically only knows how to make two things but every once in a while, when Hannah’s had a particularly rough day, he sets her up with a bath and a glass of wine before going into the kitchen and trying to make dinner himself.

He thinks that on those nights it’s the warmth and bubbles that are relaxing and comforting for Hannah but in reality her favorite part is listening to Neville’s voice as it carries down the hall, because him struggling to cook when he hates it, swearing his way through the effort, just reminds her of how adored and valued she is.

What are your favorite Neville/Hannah headcanons?

Oooh, okay, um:

I think that they probably love nothing more than cuddling on the floor in front of a fire surrounded by pillows and blankets.

basically they adore cuddling in general

Also in my mind they get engaged relatively early on but then have a really long engagement.

They know they’ll get married so what’s the rush? And they kind of put it off just because they don’t want to deal with the stress of planning a wedding.

But eventually (to the relief of all grandparents involved) they get married in a quiet ceremony with only their closest friends and family there.

The hardest year of their relationship was when Neville first started teaching at Hogwarts.

Neville tried to live like most of the professors, staying at the school all week and only going home on weekends, which of course were Hannah’s busiest days at the Leaky Cauldron, and it was a mess

Eventually they figured out a nice balance of living at the inn and the castle on and off and never going more than two days without seeing each other (for the most part)

Also I think that they probably had kids way later than all of their friends but once they did they had a lot.

Like, after growing up as lonely only children, they wanted to make sure their kids would never feel alone.

So they had like four.

That’s all I’ve got right now but thank you for asking! (ask again another time and maybe I’ll do more than talk about how I see their relationship progressing long term lol)
