Inktober day 3-4. Nanny Witch & Time Witch !🖤
Please, do not repost my art, thank you :)
Day 1-5 of Inktober! I'm participating in @ochibrochi 's #31witches for the third year in a row. In order the prompts were seasonal, hippie, nanny, time and blacksmith witches. More updated to follow in the next couple weeks!
Day 3. nanny/maid witch Gretel works as a housemaid in a family of hereditary witches and wizards. She raises Viola, a young witch that has just begun to feel her powers. Gretel has become a witch herself not long ago and though she's quite old, she's just starting to learn how to use magic.
Help with being an empath and dealing strong feelings from children during their temper tantrums?
Empath help-
I'm child free and will be staying that way, but I do nannying full-time simply because it's the simplest thing provides me enough to live on pretty well (since I don't have and don't want my degree) while I work on my real passion of my business.
ANYWAY- you know how kids are really REALLY outright with their emotions? One of the children I look after often is my own toddler nephew, who has a tonnnn of temper tantrums regularly and screams crying over alot of the simplest things and you really just have to wait it out with him sometimes for him to calm down or as you work with him until he stops screaming and sobbing.
Yeah I get it, that's the way some kids are. I understand. But the feelings, I just hate the way they smother me it seems from him, like I just want to run away (cause obvi yelling MAKE IT STOP is not acceptable) but obvi i can't leave the room because I need to be watching him.
It just makes me so emotional and I hate it. With adults I can just leave and go take care of myself to detach myself from their feelings if I don't have the spoons to comfort and be with them, but with kids that's not an option and it's seriously draining. Tips?
