Was making some dragons for some of the new accents when I had a thought: Nanori could look good in these other accents on different breeds. Some of the breeds don’t take her actual outfit as well as others and the SD had to get some real clothes bc there was just SO much empty chest real estate, which I hate.
Middle is what she actually looks like. But it was fun to see her in some other poses and accents :3
@baby-nanori I know it would be physically impossible for this to happen for several obvious reasons. But Ellianna and Nanori would make some pretty kids.
I didn’t write a lot of notes for the Duskwood so by the time I got to it in the journaling I’d forgotten a lot of it other than meeting @knightnight-fr‘s hot af draenei DK as she carried my ass through the end of the western Duskwood arc

So this is Nanori’s ‘true form’. What she’d look like if her parents (who are draenei) hadn’t decided for safety reasons that she absolutely could not be a dragon.
When the Exodar was traveling between Outland and Azeroth it was not the smoothest going. Escaping Outland was frantic and rushed and not everyone made it out and Azeroth wasn’t even their original destination. One of the lurches caused a displacement in magic that caused Nanori’s egg to appear in family’s quarters. It was a strange anomaly that radiated powerful arcane magic but was dormant.
Her mother, Pali, a mage, decided to keep the egg for study. It seemed harmless enough and it was a welcome quiet research amid the chaos of jump travel and then crashing on Azeroth.
Nanori hatched the day Deathwing started his attack. She was hours old when the news came to the Exodar of the elder dragon’s attack and her parents were, understandably, very very worried. She was a dragon too. They knew not all dragons were bad but the Alliance could be very black and white in how they reprieve evil. That meant the hatchling was in danger by virtue of existing. So using a powerful polymorph spell and a fair bit of beseeching the Naaru for help, Pali and Munah were able to transform the strange little dragon into an infant Draenei girl.
For all purposes she looks and acts like a Draenei with some slight differences. Her skin is not fair and blue like most draenei, but rather indigo to the point of eggplant, and her eyes are pink rather than seering blue or white, and she has a third horn that sticks out between her eyes. It’s led to a lot of teasing as she’s grown up. She has no idea she’s not just a normal Draenei and her parents are overly protective of her, afraid that out in the world, away from them, the polymorph spell will grow weak and she will be exposed for the dragon she is and people will either hate her, or treat her like a beast and try to tame her.
