"KNOCKIN' ON HEAVEN'S DOOR"

In 2017 Polish street art power-couple with similar aesthetics, Natalia Rak and Bezt, spent 12 day working together on one of three inaugural murals for Napa's Rail Arts District (RAD) project. Rak began painting at age 10 and her murals, primarily focused on empowering women, are known for their mystery and metaphor. Bezt also paints dream-like scenarios and is most widely known for his work with Sainer as part of the Etam Cru duo. Both artists use saturated extra-normal color to create powerful mood pieces and this 152' wall looking over the rail line at Vallejo St is no exception. @RADNapa reports that the girl and butterfly metaphor in "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" is about "finding beauty and never giving up hope, even when you may feel lost."  @nataliarakart/  @bezt_etam/

"THE GARDEN"

Called a “foodie wonderland” by the @NYTimes the 75-year-old Culinary Institute of America's @CIAatCopia offers Napa Valley visitors classes, dining and a variety of other ways to indulge their passion for food and wine. In 2018 Northern California raised / UCLA educated Allison Tinati, aka Hueman, visited the CIA facility on 1st St near the Napa @WineTrain depot to add this work for the city's Rail Arts District project: @RADNapa. Hueman's colorful wall was directly inspired by the CIA at Copia's vegetable garden, in particular the red lettuce that reminded her of flowers, and the rest of the color palette was pulled from the greens of the garden, the stone on the building, and the blue of the Napa sky.  @hueman_/
