"THE SECRET GARDEN"

Painting large scale murals since 2011, Polish artist Natalia Rak quickly became a regular in the most prestigious shows and street art events around the world. Comfortable working in a wide variety of media Rak's work draws from folklore traditions and fairy tales and a love for nature to create rich, glowing female-centric imagery. "The Secret Garden" was painted in 2019 in Cincinnati's historic Findlay Market neighborhood for the BLINK Festival.

"KNOCKIN' ON HEAVEN'S DOOR"

In 2017 Polish street art power-couple with similar aesthetics, Natalia Rak and Bezt, spent 12 day working together on one of three inaugural murals for Napa's Rail Arts District (RAD) project. Rak began painting at age 10 and her murals, primarily focused on empowering women, are known for their mystery and metaphor. Bezt also paints dream-like scenarios and is most widely known for his work with Sainer as part of the Etam Cru duo. Both artists use saturated extra-normal color to create powerful mood pieces and this 152' wall looking over the rail line at Vallejo St is no exception. @RADNapa reports that the girl and butterfly metaphor in "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" is about "finding beauty and never giving up hope, even when you may feel lost."  @nataliarakart/  @bezt_etam/

“ADVENTURE TIME"

Polish artist Natalia Rak studied fine art in Lodz, focusing on "Spatial and Poster Design.” Perfecting her skills painting canvases Rak moved out of the studio and onto the streets about 10 years ago and her visual narratives, often colorful interpretations of classic stories, have made her a fast hit around the world. In 2015, inspired by Lewis Carroll's tale of Alice's adventures, Rak joined forces with The Avenue Concept and their efforts to promote public art in Providence, RI, and created this Matthewson St portal to a magical world.  @nataliarakart/  @avenuepvd/

“PREDATORS”

Born just a few short years before Poland launched a wave of revolutions that followed across Central and Eastern Europe, Natalia Rak emerged as what Pow! Wow! refers to as one of the nation’s most exciting painters and street artists. An admirer of Fauvism, Rak’s paintings of “the many faces of women” replace representational color with a bold palette of reds and purples, creating “mood, mystery, and metaphor.” In 2015 Rak was on Ilaniwai St. in Honolulu’s Kaka’ako neighborhood creating this beautiful composition for Pow!Wow!
