I think about Ahi Estare a lot, mostly about this version with all of the characters singing it for the auditions for the big show in season 1.

My thoughts are:

How did the studio staff decide Tomas is the best singer amongst the guys shown here? He was the weakest by far singing here, and the show even makes it a point that he can't dance well, so overall, he's the worst choice..

Leon crushed his audition on the other hand and had the best performance out of the guys.

As for the girls, I know the show stated that Ludmila was chosen to placate Gregorio. I think she was the weakest though

The show framed it as Violetta being the strongest when it wasn't even close here. Francesca carries this song and is 99% of the reason I think about this song a lot. We were robbed with the lack of a full rendition of her singing this song. I also love her energy in this scene, it makes me genuinely happy

Want to know how even the crew of this show knew that Leon and Francesca had the best performances? They get the most positive reactions from the reaction shots of other characters in this scene.

Leon gets a slight smile from Braco and Pablo.

Francesca gets a bigger smile from Napo and a smile from Angie when she's talking to Pablo.

Ludmila hating that her cousin Napo is at the studio is really interesting to me and shows how scared and vulnerable she feels about certain information coming out. Like how she got physical when he called her Susana. She hates it and feels unsettled by someone knowing stuff about her outside of the image she had created for herself.
