Hurdles
For whatever reason, day three of tryin'a be healthy is always difficult. It's my day if thoughts such as "this is dumb and I can't do it and I want tacos." Well. Every day I want tacos.
Today I felt that Third Day Hurdle rising up early. I had enough self awareness to say "I think I'm just tired." So I took a nap. And I did feel better afterward. Then I got to run some errands by myself and that is THE MAGIC TIMES, people. When you have small ones to take care of, getting to bust into Costco without a cart for just three items?! Bliss. My coolness factor has never been high, but it clearly lowered with the advent of parenting. I BLAME YOU, MINIVAN OWNERSHIP!
Anyway, happy to report day three has been hurdled without knocking down the hurdle itself. Calories logged, My Fitness Pal closed up for the day.
Onward.
Me: I’m going to be productive today! Also Me: Falls asleep with dogs for 4 hours.
NAPS
I love them so much. But it never fails to surprise me how long I've been sleeping, especially since I live in a fucking cave of wonders.
