Comiccon Northampton was amazing! Both me and my brother cosplayed for the very first time, (My brother as Napstablook and myself as Hinata) and we were so surprised at how many people asked us for photos! I met some amazing cosplayers from Danganronpa, Haikyuu!!, undertale and Hetalia (I didn't manage to get a photo with the hetalia cosplayers). Also, please excuse my disgustingly red face, it was boiling in the dealers room 😅 If you know any of the cosplayers on the pictures, please tell me so I can credit them!

Leuco has a theory: Undertale

Spoilers? It’s about ghosts!

Guys, it just dawned on me. Monsters can’t become ghosts because their souls shatter as soon as they turn to dust.  It was said that only human souls had the ability to continue existing even after death. So, my theory being; Napstablook and Mettaton, plus any other ghost in undertale, were human at one point. The whole Blook Family is just a collection of ghosts who did not remember the trauma of their previous life and assumed each other as family members. 

And what if, Mettaton and Blooky were one of the original kiddos that came down?  Well, perhaps not since the souls were contained at the castle. However, there is a theory that ghosts are the mental/emotional manifestation of the deceased, their souls wouldn’t have anything to do with it. 

My money's on Mettaton being the kid who supplied the tutu. I had a feeling Meta was born a boy but felt so comfortable being a girl. Then again, I could totally have it backwards on Mettaton’s personality or just wanted to be one sexy adragonis agendered robot bishonen, I don’t know. And, being a boy wanting a girl’s skin, surely that attracted bullies; the type of bullies who would chase their target onto Mt. Ebbot and hope Meta hurts himself. But boys don’t wear tutus or dance or sing. Perhaps he was chased by other boys up Mt. Ebbot, fell, met his fate and then suddenly ghost time. 

Napstablook could have been the bookworm. So shy, recluse and assume they’re in everybody’s way. Perhaps a little darker origin there, I think you get what I’m aiming here. Blooky survives perhaps, until meeting his fate outside of Toriel’s ruins. 

Meta and Blooky both died at the hands of either boss monsters, then as humans souls were harvested; the emotional stamp of how they were before they died. No clear memory of what happened or how they got there. 

I’d love to see other opinions.
