The next post in my #thewomxnwhoinspireme series is my amazing sister Katherine. Here is why she inspires me.
Katherine is a sweetheart, a mediator, a peacemaker at her core. She feels it all and wears her heart on her sleeve. She is the sweetest, smartest little sister anyone could ever ask for. She is a fighter for the things she believes in. Whether they know it or not, she sticks up for her friends and family when they need her most. She is our moral compass.
I am in awe of her ability to adapt, persevere, and even thrive under less-than-desirable circumstances. All while keeping her head held high, and with that bright, beaming Katherine smile on her face.
But most importantly, Katherine grounds me. She reminds me to come from a place of understanding, and to be kind, even to those who make it very hard to be kind. She inspires me to do better. I cannot tell you how thankful I am to have her in my life. I am beyond lucky.
