Narborough Road, Leicester, UK is the most ethnically diverse road in the whole of the UK (so I’m told). We live not too fast from ‘The Narb’ as its known locally, and last night, a drama unfolded regarding an exploding Kebab machine. From what we could pick up in the restaurant where we enjoying some excellent, Indian food (Mithas), nobody was hurt, but sending three fire engines was a little over the top.

Part of the road into town was blocked off for hours, and the emergency services were still there when we left around 8pm. Just another day in the life of this amazing road.
