Narcissa;
Where: Malfoy Manor When: Day After the Cheswell Attack, March 24th
There were very few people that Bellatrix Lestrange cared for in the world. Matters of the heart were easily exploited, and a woman in her position couldn’t afford weaknesses like that. Still, it was impossible to cut off the humanity that beat in her cold heart. Most definitely towards her sister Narcissa. The only person she had left that she could trust completely. When Andromeda chose Ted over the family, a knife had been stabbed into Bellatrix’s chest. It was a wound that would never heal, aching each time a memory floated across her mind. She was sure Cissa felt it too- even if the outside world saw wear a mask perfectly. Bellatrix knew better.
The reason for Bellatrix’s visit to Malfoy Manor was one of insurance. A guarantee that her sister would be able to defend herself- if, Merlin forbid, something happened. “Now I’ve brought gifts for Draco, nothing too dangerous of course.” She grinned, laying her cloak on a nearby chair before turning to face Narcissa. “It is my job as his aunt to spoil him.” Kids. Bellatrix had none of her own, though it was for the better. Bringing a child into her world was a cruelty. “More importantly, I’ve brought a proper bottle of wine for us to share. Father would approve of the year.”
