Celebrían shifted her stance and ran the spear drill she was working on again, though her shoulders and back were beginning to ache faintly. With the end of the last run she set the spear aside, stretching out her arms as she exited the practice right. As she passed other rings she noticed one of her son practicing with his sword in one.

She stopped and leaned on the fence that separated the ring from the surrounding area. “Keep your other arm back, Elrohir. You’ll make a smaller target that way, ion nin.” She smiled at him, “And have a care with your footwork, you’re about to trip.”

An almost embarrassed expression crossed Elladan’s face as he paused in his movements, the bottle of rosewater he had been holding set down onto the table slowly. After looking down at the table before him for a moment, scattered with stray petals and odd ingredients as it was, he very slightly began to grin. His eyes flicked up from his task to the face of his brother, the grin growing ever-wider.

“I may be aware of that, yes,” he teased, his voice as soft as always and his hands covered in the perfume he was making.

my opinion on;

character in general: My interpretation of Lindir is weird because I always separated Figwit from the movies and Lindir from the books and I’m like the only one who does that, but Lindir just means a lot to me? Like he’s one of the examples of the fandom taking a character with like 2 sentences in the book and bringing them to life with lots of different backstories and its really beautiful how we try and piece together a realistic life for them based on what we know about Middle Earth aND *inhale* the whole Figwit/Lindir phenomenon gave me something to explore writing with and I’m glad because it taught smol me how character development works. Also I could of sworn in the books he had silver hair and I never stop thinking about it. 

how they play them: he’s so pure and just wants a happy ending; someone get this man a happy ending

the mun: Super cool and writes things that gives me feels. I worry that I’m annoying sometimes, but you’re really chill.

do i;

follow them: Yesrp with them: Just started towant to rp with them: definitelyship their character with mine: Probably not because Lindir is a fossil person Melpomaen looks up to in a mentor sort of way. And he’s basically a fossil to Mel.

what is my;

overall opinion: We haven’t done tons together but probably one the most nicely put together Lindirs I’ve seen and v fun.

my opinion on;

character in general: The story of the twins is very interesting, though the hunting orcs out of rage part always kind of gives me the shivers. I like how they were shown in the War of the North even though they showed up conveniently late to everything. Elrohir always striked me as a healer type but I think that’s because of fanfiction.

how they play them: I haven’t read a lot, but what I have has been really high in emotions. You really capture the tragic part of the Peredhil family, and an interesting Elrohir.

the mun: Still cool beans.

follow them: Now I dorp with them: Not yetwant to rp with them: Definitely *fingerguns*ship their character with mine: Depends because Mel would get the vibe that everyone in Rivendell sees him as the bby that they helped raise. Mel is probably hella intimidated by him too.

what is my;

overall opinion: I’ve only seen a bit, but I’m super hype for anything with Mel and Elrohir.
