I'm trying to give my main character of a story more depth and I think I saw you posing "writing challenges" or something for your character, like putting them in different situations or something. But I can't find it and was wondering if you could maybe help me out? ^^' <3

Hi, I've been working on a rather big story now for years, but I have some problems connecting the start of my story to the end. I know how I want it to start (but I'm willing to be flexible on it if needed) but I'm SURE of how it's gonna end. I also have a few things I want to happen in the middle, but to get to the end from the middle in a natural way and make it all seem real and connected...I have no idea... Help? ^^'
The good thing to do is to work backwards. Think about your story and think about what needs to happen in order to get to that ending. Do your characters require development? What could happen that could change them as a character; what events would have such an effect on them? Is there a mystery that needs to be solved? Plant clues. Plant red herrings. Let your characters discover the truth bit by bit. Uncover your story bit by bit, and things will begin to weave together.
Another thing: just write. If you've been working on your story for a while, I'm going to assume you know your characters pretty well (if not, check out the characters and character development tag if you need help on that!) Remember that they can make mistakes and their mistakes and unfortunate circumstances can bring conflict to your novel, and ensure that the reader is always kept on their toes. Maybe not everything you write will end up in the final draft, but hey, it's something! This will allow you to find the different directions your story can go in. Sure, you might hit a few dead ends, but that's just a good indicator of how you can make your story better!
Sometimes, stories can be like a jigsaw puzzle. You have most of the pieces but something's missing. Your task is to fill the empty spaces with conflict, character development, plot twists, betrayal, red herrings, etc. Good luck!

When did you create your blog: Only about a month ago or so, I don’t really remember. :D I’m a complete newbie to tumblr. :D What do I post about: It’s mostly stuff I like that I blog about, like anime, manga, things I find on other social media platforms and find funny or stuff that relates to me. :) At the moment my top topics would be Noragami, Owari No Seraph, Haikyuu!!, Free!, One Piece, Attack on Titan and a little bit of Ereri. ;) And my cosplay plans for next year, the biggest being AniNite 2016 in Vienna. :)

What made you decide to get a Tumblr: Well...have to admit it was the VändettA-Crew. :D After contemplating on getting one I was convinced that I need one when I saw @procerperficio @hubedihubbe and @ladycadmium blog. And here I am, now practically stalking everyone, including @alternatefiction @luleo @hypernobility @dinkelsmoothi and @naricie :D Sorry for that btw. :D

Why did you choose your url: I was looking for something that resembles me and since I like always stay up until midnight I thought it’d go with me pretty well. I also love the name Setsuna and since Square Enix is working on a new JRPG that’s named Project SETSUNA at the moment I thought I’d borrow the name. :D Meanwhile I changed the writing of Setsuna to SetsunA, which will be my cosplayer name fom next year on. :)

Do you have any pets: Yup, I have quite a lot. :) First would be my baby Felix (a cat), who’s living at my parents house with me, my siblings, my parents and his cat-brother Tiger. Then there would be Lucky (another cat), who’s living at my grandparents house. I also used to have (judge me all you like) a pet piggy named Rosie, but she died when I was younger, and a pet cow named Sindy. She was my baby and I was always taking care of her when I was at my grandparents. I also had a few pet sheep, one of them was my ram Arthur. I loved the myth of King Arthur and that’s why I named him like that. :) I just love animals in general and want to have a snake and a dog later. :) I Tag: everyone who likes to do it. :)
