[Ler!date everything narrator x Lee!reader]
you find out the narrator isn't all talk
--------------------------------
You were laid in bed after a long day of talking to the objects in your house, flirting with them, getting them to hate you, all that stuff.
You've kissed a couple of them, hugged them too, maybe even engaged in little adventures with them (the hanks specifically), you've never just talked to them. Apart from one person, the narrator. The guy who narrates everything that goes on throughout this whole thing, the dateables thoughts and feelings, sometimes even your thoughts and feelings.
You actually forget that he's even there until-
"You lay there in your bed, staring into the nothingness with practically nothing to do."
A charming voice makes you jump and swear out loud.
"shit! jesus I forget you're, like, always there" you say with one hand over your eyes with the other resting on your stomach.
"always with you, my dear. Can't get rid of me" he says with a chuckle, no longer narrating whilst he's talking to you.
"Yeah I can see that, well I can't see you or anything... What are you anyway? like- air?" you respond with a thinking look on your face.
"No, Airyn is air, I'm sort of like the voice in your head, telling you what's happening." he says simply.
"So you're not here physically?" Your question is answered by silence for a few moments until he finally replies.
"I can be as physical as the rest of the objects in this house." He replies with a monotone voice.
You lay there thinking about his answer for a few seconds, you then respond with a simple- "Prove it."
You ask for him to prove just how physical he can get, maybe expecting a poke to the shoulder or maybe a slap to the face or maybe just-
Your thoughts are once again cut short by the feeling of fingers digging into your sides, this immediately makes you bark out a laugh and curl up to defend yourself against literally nothing. Nobody is touching you, well nobody that you can see anyways.
"Whahahatthefuhuck!?" you giggle out a confused laugh, arms covering your sides but not stopping the tickly feeling.
"You asked me to prove it, didn't you? is this not doing what you asked?" he asks in a teasing voice, invisible fingers still scribbling your sides.
"yehes but nohot this!!" you manage to giggle out, not uncurling even though it's not doing anything to help you.
"Why? do you not like this spot? fine, how about here? or here perhaps?" as he speaks you feel two sets of hands tickle at your body, one set under your armpits whilst the others are digging into your hips.
You can't contain your laughter now, not like you ever could but this just makes it worse.
"NOHOHOHOHO!! NOHOT THAT EITHER!!" you scream out through belly laughter, thrashing around on your bed, not knowing which part of your body to protect.
"Well I just don't know what to do, my dear! maybe somewhere else?" more hands target the worst spaces on you, two invisible hands sliding under your shirt to tickle and prod at your stomach with another set scribbling at your feet.
You're completely defenceless with nothing to do but laugh and laugh, thrashing around doesn't stop the tickly feeling nor does curling up into a ball. So you're just left on the bed, arms hugging yourself with your face down into a pillow, legs kicking against the blanket. You cannot even argue back anymore, your laughter engulfing your words.
"As they get tickled and tickled they laugh the most adorable laugh! A laugh that could charm everyone who hears it!" He says, back into his narration. His words definitely don't help your case, they just cause more laughs to escape you as tears leave your eyes and get soaked into the pillow.
The tickling continues for a few moments, fingers scribbling at your stomach, armpits, feet and almost anywhere that can be considered a tickle spot on you until it finally comes to a stop.
You're left there on the bed panting, face still down into the pillow as you try to catch your breath.
It's quiet for a few seconds, the only sound to be heard is your heavy breathing until he finally speaks again.
"Still think I'm just air?" he asks, back into his teasing voice.
No, you don't think that anymore. But you do know not to challenge him as there's nothing you can do about the consequences he'll have for you.

Hope you liked this fic! I'm not the biggest fan because I was pretty stumped on how to make the narrator a ler but I hope it works!
