Thomas meets Sheldon.

He questions his fellow tank engine if he knew Gordon and why he called the big engine Gigantic.

Sheldon tells Thomas a short summary of the two’s friendship. Thomas is surprised that Gordon would be friends with a smaller engine. Thomas recalls the first time he met Gordon; the big engine was very rude to the small tank engine.

Thomas asks Sheldon more about his and Gordon’s past and why Sheldon referred to Gordon as Gigantic. It is an interesting and funny tale, one that Thomas can’t believe as he had never known Gordon to be a silly engine.

Thomas finally ask why Gordon ran away from Sheldon back at the station. Sheldon tells the tank engine that when Gordon left for Sodor, the two were not on the best of terms. Sheldon tells Thomas about the incident with their friend Delma. Sheldon talks about the massive fight Gordon and him had over that accident and that it was what caused them to stop being friends.

Thomas is very surprised when the mentioned narrow- gauge engine pulls up next to her tank engine friend. Delma says that her and Sheldon have come to Sodor in hopes of mending their friendship with Gigantic.

Thomas wishes to help the friends make amends with one another, but tells the two that with Gordon’s pride and guilt that it will be difficult to get a word in. Nevertheless, Sheldon and Delma wish to proceed.

With Thomas’s help the three small engines head out in search of their big blue engine friend.
