Maybe Smudger with some flowers, please? Only if you want to though!
Pretty flowers for a pretty engine *generator
So pretty that they’re in his dreams as well
I hope you like it!! I love painting landscapes and flowers so why not both at the same time
Okay, I know I mentioned my guess in the comments (referring to the mysterious puppet at odds with Topham), but I wanted to explain my theory.
(though, I figured doing it in the same comment section would be too long. So, I'm sending it here, but don't feel obligated to answer at all. This is just me spit-balling.)
So, we know Smudger was turned into a generator in the model series, right? Right. He can't move or do anything.
So, hypothetically speaking, in this AU, he could have been victim to wicked humans (maybe he worked at one of those horrid factories) and lost his original limbs for being quote, "out-of-line" *insert obvious air-quotes here*. And is left immobile as a quote "example" *bigger air-quotes*.
Fast forward to the present time, and he's rescued, patched up (like Henry), and given work by Sir Steven Topham as a gesture of good will and an opportunity to heal, but like Spencer, Smudger is hostile to all humans and will not see reason, leading to many arguments between controller and puppet.
I could be completely wrong on so many levels, but it's just a theory...
...A PUPPET THEORY!
(Sorry, I couldn't resist!😅)
Well you're definitely right Smudger definitely hates humans....
Because of what happened....
Humans were definitely rough on him we'll tell you that, he does get into bad arguments with Stephen Topham Hatt...
Too bad Smudger definitely doesn't want to come out to talk about it
.... As if he could speak.... anymore....
Peter Sam (*points to his new funnel*): "Check it out!"
Sir Handel (*struggles containing his laughter*): "That's the most ridiculous funnel i've ever seen!"
*Sir Handel laughs while Peter Sam looks uncomfortable from hearing his remark on his funnel*
Duncan or Smudger (*mockingly sarcastic*): "Nice funnel!"
Sir Handel (*instantly stops laughing, replaced with infuriation*): "HEY! THAT IS MY BEST FRIEND, AND THAT FUNNEL IS AWESOME!"

Watch Carson's New Video!!!
Carson released the first installment of Forgotten Engines last night, written by Mike (The Buried Truck) - the first in a series that has been in production for 5 years. I was invited to join the Video Workshop in 2021 directly because of this project, and I ended up writing the following 6 stories of the arc as Mike was busy - with help from him, Carson, Luke Ryan and Dan (TardisRescue). I am so honoured to be involved in the project, and so happy to be able to talk about it publicly (no spoilers though!)
Please check Patchwork out, and keep an eye out for the rest of the stories when they're finished :)
(Also I wrote the trailer/foreward for Forgotten Engines, if you haven't seen that yet then watch it!!!)
He’ll never move again....
