Exactly, yes. The whole notion that they become rivals over a boy is such a stupid message because it implies their sole goal is to win the guy, and not only does it objectify Sasuke, but it also makes Sakura and Ino seem shallow and weak. Naruto and Sasuke are rivals because they want to better themselves in order to be stronger and more successful. Sakura and Ino are rivals because they want… to get Sasuke’s adoration?

How I feel about this character:

I loveee Rock Lee!

All the people I ship romantically with this character:

No one, really. Perhaps young!Kakashi and Gaara for fun? 

My non-romantic OTP for this character:

NejiLee, GaaLee, and LeeSaku. 

My unpopular opinion about this character:

He should’ve been one of the main characters because Lee was truly disadvantaged and the perfect example of a real underdog. 

One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon:

More screen time and less pro-Konoha attitude.
