Because seriously, guys...that's what this weeks chapter feels like.
After waiting two whole weeks for answers - for some kind of plot advancement after weeks and weeks AND WEEKS OF FLASHBACK, we get this. We get Kakashi, slow on the uptake. "Does this have something to do with Rin?" JUST A BIT. I get that he's not privy to Obito's past like we are, but still. What else would have made him so angry?
And Kakashi is so self-loathing this week. It breaks my heart. Yes, you've made your fair share of screw ups, but did you really need Naruto to give you that kick in the pants? Did you really need him to save you and spur you into action?!
Still don't know why Rin died. For fucks sake, Kishimoto - if you're not going to give us answers, go back to Sasuke. I'm bored of this fight already. Naruto mouthing off and Kakashi wimping out and a few bits of action inbetween...what actually happened in this chapter to move the story along? Anything at all? I'd even rather see what's happening with Tsunade. Or the Rookies. Did you forget about them, Kishi?
All in all, this grand face-off feels slow and bitter. Obito spent all last chapter spouting how he "doesn't care anymore" but look at him telling Kakashi to shut up! Look at him trying damn hard to kill him first, out of everyone! I CALL YOUR BULLSHIT OBITO. And Madara, you evil shit. Go flip your hair some more.
KISHI DID YOU HAVE TO WASTE PANELS AND PANELS WITH MORE FLASHBACK FROM KAKASHI GAIDEN DID YOU REALLY. WHY. WE AREN'T STUPID. WE DO REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED THERE. The teamates-trash-thing is at the centre of this whole series. Give us some goddamn credit.
