Do you ever just find yourself thinking about a new Naruto chapter at completely random times?
NEJI COULD HAVE BEEN HERE
HE COULD HAVE BEEN
HERE
AAAAAAKSJDHAKSDHAKHSD
FEEEELS FEELS EVERYWHERE
I've noticed that opinions on the latest Naruto chapters are divided into two sets of people
Fanboys and Fangirls who believe Kishimoto can do no wrong and care more about pairings that will never happen than quality story telling
And the rest who just want it to end already
Naruto 651
I feel incredibly underwhelmed by this chapter
Just end already :(
Oh ps, I guess Kurama's a Power Ranger now or something.

the-freedom-man answered to your post“Some questions about Obito's vision in Chapter 651”
I think it was more along the lines of his Tsukuyomi backfiring and him facing the desires of the old Obito.
True. The questions I posed are probably better titled, "Some questions to consider if choosing to write AU fanfiction wherein Obito achieves his dream without going bonkers."
What I find interesting though, if what you propose is the case, is the obvious lack of Rin's presence in his desires. Are we to assume that Obito acknowledges his inability to save the girl he loved from her ultimate fate despite being around to achieve his other goals? Or did he (and Kishimoto) just forget her?
Or is it that -- just possibly -- in the end, Obito is just as evil as he is behaving and Rin is his excuse rather than his motivation? We know all the Uchiha have a genetic disposition toward insanity of some form or the other and I've never bought into his whole "I want Rin back" spiel so I'm feeling a little justified.
Realistically, I think Kishimoto is being a little lazy about the whole thing and I know I'm thinking too hard about it but it bothers me. I do see where you're coming from though.
Wow, all I really wanted to say: You're probably right. Sorry about the extra rambling.
Some questions about Obito's vision in Chapter 651
Sure, he might have survived the whole losing Rin ordeal but:
Would he have survived Itachi's massacre?
Would the relationship between the Uchiha and the Coucil have degenerated to the point where such a thing would still be necessary if Obito had become Hokage?
Would the Council not still feel the need to cull the Uchiha clan because now the Uchiha really had all the power as the Hokage's own clan?
Would Obito have adopted Sasuke if the massacre had still happened?
Would Sasuke not be quite so homicidal?
Would Obito be Hokage so young anyway; what about Minato?
Would Madara still have attacked on Naruto's birthday?
Would Minato and Kushina still have died?
Would Naruto still have become the jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi?
WOULD WE EVEN BE READING THIS MANGA?
