me, to the woman not tucking: Excuse me, miss, I /love/ your camel toe.
Sometimes I daydream about time traveling back in time to some point in the 1980s to 2017 to warn people about what's to come and I make myself mad over the fact people would still not listen to the time traveller with warnings. I'd probably be assassinated too by corporate or government interests. Humans in the 2010s would be SO hard-headed or call be a liar for how extreme it would look back then.
Then I imagine myself on a national talkshow about to strangle the host as no one takes it seriously and as they laugh over the idea of a decade of interesting times ahead. people with batshit conspiracies and the evangelicals pop in. And I'm just trying to use the ways I was coached to convince people that I'm a time traveller, IF I got sent back by some professionals for some insane reason. Maybe I go to Stephen Hawking's 2009 time traveller party and show him some tech that doesn't exist yet and that'd be enough. Or reality cracks because the 4th dimension is real. IDK man, I don't have the fortitude to put up with the psychic damage of being a prophet for 5 minutes before things change too much from this timeline to help anymore. I want to believe it would help and not spawn a worse series of events, but humanity's track record isn't great.
It'd be a good screenplay, though. Maybe someone else has also thought this over for years like me and has a rock-solid plan. Share your thoughts?

Why do I keep wanting to make custom dolls when I know nothing about making custom dolls? Especially when half of the customs I want to do are for things that I'm not a fan of.
Anyway, wish me luck. I'm hoping to find a cute Mackie Barbie for cheap at a resale shop or something somewhere. Still terrified of rerooting, so she'll need to be blonde. Eyeing some old Ballet Wishes dolls specifically, though I know that's not gonna be easy to stumble across.
Suppose Brienne did find Sansa at Vale how would she convince her that she served Catelyn? Sansa doesn’t trust easily and I doubt she would believe for an instant that Jaime Lannister of all people sent Brienne to protect her.
It's not a plausible story, no. But Sansa doesn't have to listen to Brienne's tale and decide accept/not accept, she can ask questions.
How did you meet my mother? What did she say about me to you? What did she say about my sister? How did she react to the news of Winterfell's fall? What did Robb think about this? How were Catelyn and Robb getting along? Did she talk about my father at all?
None of this goes directly to Brienne's hypothetical central claim that Jaime did an about-face and asked Brienne to ensure Sansa's safety. But there is an awful lot Sansa could start asking Brienne about Catelyn for Sansa to build a broader picture of Brienne's credibility. If Brienne is honest, I don't think Sansa (or indeed most people) would be able to miss that Brienne is 100% sincere about her respect for and dedication to Catelyn.
That doesn't eliminate the possibility that Brienne could have been fooled by Jaime himself, it doesn't mean that Sansa would or could believe that part of the tale even when Brienne tells Sansa with the exact same earnestness "he is not the man he was", but I think Brienne's got the materials to convince Sansa of her own sincerity.
What happens if Bran dies after Jaime pushes him out of the tower in AGOT?
It's put down to an accident - there's no need for Joffrey to attempt Bran's murder if Bran is already dead. The exact inciting incidents of whatever military conflict is brewing are different, but there still is one because a) Cersei's children aren't Robert's and there are people who know that and b) there are other people trying really hard to start a war.
And then, much like in a lot of alternate Jon Snow scenarios, everyone's screwed further down the track because Bran's not there to do whatever it is Bran's going to be needed for.
I think hugging Trent would send me into anaphylactic shock purely because of all the layers of clothing he’s been wearing for this tour. Like hi I’m already trying to process the texture of your skin, my brain can’t comprehend cotton and leather and mesh and metal buckles and whateverthefuck material your pants are made of right now on top of all that. I’d fry like a bird accidentally brushing something grounded while sitting on a wire. Nevertheless—
Do you believe that religion has ruined the spice of life?
in my general opinion it really depends on the individual and what you mean by religion. in my personal opinion, yes.
religion on a personal, spiritual level can serve as a form of guidance for people. that guidance can help shape their lives and help to develop themselves as a person, leading them to things in life that they enjoy. however, i also believe that religion can cause internalized restrictions on what one can and cannot do.
that ties into my opinions on organized religion. organized religion can serve as a form of community and therefore joy and pleasure, however it can also pressure people into complying with certain norms or rules. these rules are often arbitrarily made, or are outdated, and therefore become unneeded limitations.
personally, i find religion to be unnecessary. it provides guidance and a sense of order but limits everyone no matter what religion they follow, even if they have none. i think that if humanity lets go of religion as rulebook, we can achieve much more and regain the— as you phrase it— spice of life.
