OKAY OKAY OKAY.
So I will admit I am more than pleased with all the Sasuke feels in the latest chapter but let me just point out where Kishimoto failed this time.
So Sasuke sees Team seven as his family, but for what exactly?! Sure they have saved him from his loneliness, but when did Kakashi or Sakura ever even make an attempt at trying to understand him?!! RIGHT NEVER!
It was always just the shallow minded "Save him from the darkness" bs while Naruto actually could understand him so damn well!!!
You know, in my opinion Team Taka, who has helped Sasuke so damn much and who has accepted him for the avenger he was, can be considered much more a family than Team 7.
Especially Karin. The things she has done for Sasuke!!! Sakura didn't do nearly as much for him as Karin did.
So I call bullshit on this new chappy.
I guess in that last panel Naruto and Sasuke realized they were both HANDicapped.
Sakura and Kaguya
When I first read 'I like you', I thought it was an extension of Sakura's inner monologue, 'cause manga panda's translation of Kakashi's thoughts was vague. Well, I started having these thoughts about Sakura admiring Kaguya's immense strength, but she has a duty to end the woman and her evil, and despite that, she likes her anyway.
Sakura would like Kaguya because in her childhood, and even until now, she adored Tsunade, who is a formidable woman in her own right, and looked up to her because she wanted to be a strong woman too. I believe Sakura generally admires strong women, but has conflicted emotions towards Kaguya because she uses her power for evil, but is powerful, and most importantly she is a powerful woman. Tsunade does not just come from a noble family, but she is actually a noble person. Kaguya, too, comes from a noble family, being a princess and all, but she's working to destroy the world, and Sakura would think that despite all the pain and suffering that Tsunade had gone though, she never became evil, didn't even harbor an ill intent, and remained noble. Deep down, Sakura would believe that Kaguya somehow is redeemable, and wishes she is, but because she's Sakura, she cannot stand idly while this woman wrecks havoc and kills her friends. Sakura would like Kaguya because the latter reminds her of Tsunade, of her mentor's strength and of the strength Sakura herself wants to gain, but she does her duty anyway, because that's exactly what Tsunade would have done. And this shit all ties back to the fact that, it does not matter if you're born in a noble family that possesses some kind of special bloodline, 'cause this won't dictate your future. Sakura knows this shit. She struggled with it and continues to do, because she doesn't belong to a powerful clan nor does she possess a kekkai genkai, but what made her what she is now is her hard work, determination, and good heart. Noble heart. So in summary, Kaguya being from a noble clan meant shit, and so Sakura not belonging to a noble clan means shit, too.
In an indirect way, Kaguya had taught Sakura an important lesson.
