Japanese fans don't hate Sakura!
I was replying to a message from trang95 when I ended up ranting a bit lol. I figured some other people would feel happy knowing that Japanese fans DO like Sakura so I repost my comments!
With regards to the latest Kishimoto-sensei TV interview: ----------------------------
I hear Japanese fans already mourn the death of Neji for his cupid role and also everyone starts coming out on the forums and saying 'Hey I like Sakura!' 'Me too' 'Me three!' so many people want to tell Kishi-sensei that Sakura is not as unpopular as he thinks. Just less vocal about it. Unlike noisy Hinata-otaku. So the feeling is that we lost to the louder voices. It's sad but I feel warm and happy too because many many people say they actually like Sakura! And so even though the anti's are complaining only BL lovers (NaruSasu-ers) and Sakura fans and NaruSaku fans hate the movie which is silly but they are the same people who say Sakura is soooo unpopular no one likes her. Then why so many people hate the movie if all of them are Sakura fans then actually Sakura is so so so popular by their logic right?? So they are contradicting themselves. It's funny to see the invalidity of their arguments. By the way this is from Japanese fandom, I think this also reflect English fandom too. Interesting how there is not much difference in fan reactions!
