Sketch diary, days 6+7 - April "8th and 9th".

Reads right to left.

Not exactly about day-to-day, but something that's been on our radar for the last couple months. We've been wanting to put some of these thoughts to paper somehow and decided this would be a good place to put it. Very proud of this one ngl, since it's a little more personal we put a lot of attention to this sequence.

Panel 1: He wasn't always a subsystem.

Panel 2: It's been an adjustment for many of us. A learning experience, even.

Sasuke: (Used to it)

Naruto: (not so much)

He went through things he never should have had to. Again and again. Until he couldn't anymore, vanishing to rest

Panel 1: To rest... and protect.

Panel 2: He - they - served as a living barrier within us. They stayed dormant for years,only awakening once the system was finally safe enough to process.

Panel 1: They continue to try to protect us upon re-awakening.

...Even when they don't need to.

Panel 2: It's been an adjustment for them as well... Learning how to be safe.

Fortunately.... They seem to be figuring it out just fine.
