My piece for @naruto-magic-week ‘s first day prompt!

They are REALLY loud and the teachers probs smack their heads too often!
Kakuzu, Itachi and Yahiko are the prefects of their houses.
Kisame, Hidan and Dei are the aces of Gryffindor’s quidditch team. They are usually together running wild and getting in trouble, not that they are looking for trouble, trouble finds them or that’s what Dei says.
Sasori and Kakuzu are very bitter with Dei and Hidan all the time, for no reason in particular, but maybe them sneaking into Slytherin’s dorms at least once a day to annoy them hang out has something to do with it.
Kakuzu and Hidan share their interest in old books. Kakuzu enjoys discovering new things about forbidden magic and dark spells, while Hidan is interested in finding about his family’s dark magic cult. So they are often caught in the forbidden section.
Sasori, Dei and Konan get together some evenings to share their crafts and create ‘art’. After too many trips to the infirmary, Sasori and Konan are now experts in avoiding Deidara’s art aftermaths.
Obito has a dissociative identity disorder. When he’s Tobi he hangs out with the Akatsuki, but when he’s Obito he hangs out with Rin and Kakashi. He likes to help Nagato and Yahiko with their lil garden, and sometimes he invites Zetsu to join them. But when he’s not with any of them, he’s probably chasing after Dei.
Nagato and Yahiko like to do gardening and show their plants and flowers to Konan. The three of them visit their godfather’s hut very often, to help him with his creatures and orchard.
Konan spends most of her time in Hufflepuff’s wing, and only goes to Ravenclaw’s tower to sleep. So she doesn’t have many friends in her house aside from Itachi. Sometimes they like to share some tea while peacefully reading about charms to fold origami paper.
Itachi spends an insane amount of time in the library reading ancient scrolls and cooking books. He also visits the forbidden section more than he should, so he often joins Kakuzu and Hidan in their nocturnal raids. Itachi borrows every book about magical creatures he finds, so he can give them to Kisame, who wants to be a magizoologist.
Kisame is a botomless pit of random and kind of disturbing facts about wildlife and nature in general, and says them out loud when he’s nervous. He used to hate this thing about himself until Itachi gave him a book about magical creatures because “You should not be ashamed of your passions” (though Itachi really just wanted to say “I’m glad I’ve found someone as awkward as me, please keep being awkward”).
When the Akatsuki gather together they can be really loud, and they are quite the focus of the crowd. Somehow they became friends and now they are ‘the cool kids’ of Hogwarts.
This is to include more subsets of this fictional genre, including, but not limited to, magic, fairies, wizards, quests, dungeons, dragons, creatures, alchemy, gods, heroes and more!
TLDR: We’re working to make the next week more inclusive! But, if you’d like to stick with magic only, feel free to do so!
Summary: Head Auror Kakashi Hatake goes to visit the new face at the Ministry, except his face isn’t new to him at all. It belongs to an old flame from Hogwarts, which apparently, has refused to burn out.
Can he summon the courage to finally tell him how he feels? The answer is yes, but with a little help; help that actually, might not be that helpful at all.

“I don’t remember there being a window,” he said, as a way of announcing himself.
“There wasn’t. I charmed one. It’s too depressing down here. I felt like a goblin,” Iruka said, pushing up his glasses to smile at Kakashi, before turning back to a large pot of soil on the table.
“Herbivicus,” Iruka said, with a tiny flick of his wand, as the plant rapidly grew from a tiny seedling to a luscious shrub, it’s pink flowers in full bloom. Iruka clipped them off and dropped them into a beaker with clear liquid. It fizzled upon contact.
“What are you working on?”
“A modified version of Amortentia.”
A love potion? That peaked his interest more than it should.

naruto magic week day 6: cursed marks (ok so the mark itself doesnt show up but there is a curse)
Kakashi is devastated to find that not even he can avoid all his problems forever, but he sure did try.

This has been a rough few years. At first the whole thing seemed kind of ignorable to Kakashi, but the older he’s gotten the more obvious it’s become that it really isn’t. He needs to really so a professional about this family curse. Now, a curse on the Hatake to have bad luck seems rather mild, but the more time passes the worse it gets, and he came very close to getting done in by an old garden pot and a confused nymph. He doesn’t want to talk about it.
He’s going to find a good witch or warlock, that knows some good luck spells, or counter-curses, and he’s going to get this taken care of before he disappears mysteriously like his father. Luckily, Kakashi knows just the one.
On the road to town, he deviates down a well-trodden dirt path. It winds through the perpetually dark forest on the edge of Konoha, and leads to a compound that seldom gets outsiders. The Uchiha compound doesn’t look any different than when he last stepped through over a decade ago to find Obito when he was late for their lessons with Minato-sensei. Odds are he still lives in the same house as well.
Kakashi does his best to stick to the shadows and not attract too much attention from the Uchiha on his way, but his hair is a bit obvious. They glance at him suspiciously, although a few seem like they may remember him. He has the same mask, and the same hair, so admittedly he’s barely changed more than the compound.
He comes to a stop outside Obito’s door, and considers for a moment just peaking in the window like he used to. Better just knock. He raps on the door firmly before stepping back. He remembers how Obito could get when opening doors.
“Hello,” Obito says, more like a question than a greeting as he slams the door open just like Kakashi assumed he would.
“Still trying to kill people with doors I see!”
“Kakashi! I only hit you once years ago, and you’re clearly fine,” he deflects, “I haven’t seen you in a long time.” The question of what he wants is implied.
“Maa, I guess not. I meant to come by sooner, but a black cat crossed my path on the way here.”
“Don’t start that with me, Mister Used-To-Always-Complain-When-I-Was-Late,” he says, “And I had actual reasons for being late. Black cat my ass.”
“Sorry Obito, but I’ve been having genuine problems with bad luck, so I really couldn’t risk it.”
“Bad luck?” he considers, “Do you mean that curse, like Sakumo-san had? Are you still having problems with it?”
“Problems? You could say that,” Kakashi snorts, “I was hoping you could help me. It’s been a while since work took us our separate ways, but I know this should be up your alley now.”
“Of course, you came to the right place,” he assures him, puffing up proudly just like when they were young. “Follow me. I think I know something to point us in the right direction,” he says, disappearing through the doorway.
Kakashi follows him through the familiar halls. When he left he thought they would be more changed, that meeting again would feel less comfortable. Really, he doesn’t know what he expected to happen, but it almost feels like he was never gone. Obito leads him into the study. Well, one thing has changed, he never went in this room before. They were too busy with their studies and then with their new careers for him to mess with any of his parents’ things.
“That tome up there,” Obito explains, gesturing at a shelf that’s so high it’s nearing the ceiling, “It covers family curses. It’ll point us in the right direction for sure.”
“Is it going to jump down to us?” he grins.
“Shut up Bakashi,” he grumbles, “There’s a rolling ladder we can use. Just hold the bottom of it for me.”
“Yes sir,” he chirps.
Obito has only just grasped the spine of the book when the ladder seems to wobble. Suddenly, Kakashi questions the intelligence of being near a ladder with a curse like his. He quickly lets go and moves back, but doesn’t make it far before the rung under Obito’s feet snaps and he falls back landing directly on top of him.
Ouch.
“Are you alright?” he asks, muffled a bit by the way his chin is pressed tightly up against the top of Obito’s head.
“I should be asking you that,” Obito answers with a groan, “this was probably the work of your curse.”
“It doesn’t seem like the curse minds if it takes you out with me,” he replies, “Are you sure you want to help?”
“Don’t be stupid. Of course, I’ll still help,” he says, sliding off Kakashi and standing back up. Obito turns and offers a hand, helping pull him back up. He doesn’t let go of his hand. “For old times’ sake if nothing else, you can count on me,” he insists, and leans forward to press a kiss above the edge of his mask.
One way or another, Kakashi probably isn’t going to survive this. At least the book fell down too.

When he opens his eyes, the world is dark. The world is dark and warm and massive around him and when he reaches out to touch, he realizes his world is earth. It nourishes and chokes him, caresses and smothers him.
The ground warms his skin. He considers just staying in its embrace, in the rich, dark soil that keeps him warm and safe. Like a womb. Like a bed. Like a coffin.
He inhales and breathes gravel. The earth sits heavy in his lungs. Slowly, the foggy air in his head begins to lift and he gasps sharply as the memories flood back.
It’s a grave. His grave. He died. He was buried. Buried and brought back from the dead, apparently. And now he’s lying awake in his own grave.
The earth weighs heavy on his soul.
He takes another deep breath of gravel and starts digging. His nails break, small stones digging their way under his nail beds in retaliation. It doesn’t take long until his fingers are slick and wet with his own blood.
His hand is kissed first by a breeze of air and then by a lover’s lips not long after. The person stops abruptly, as if coming to their senses, and starts shoveling the dirt away to free him. Strong fingers bury into the skin of his forearms and pry him from the earth.

Well... it’s more like enchanted collar fur, and I’m pretty sure it’s some kind of otherworldly being that got attached to Tobirama... but the lesson stays the same, apprentice Kagami : no touching !
(I’d like to say the mouths are only for intimidation, but more than one enemy tried to catch him by the collar and got eaten (more or less partially depending on their luck))
