Fousey update: after his incredible trip to Africa, @fousey came in to continue the project of nose reconstruction. This is key because if you remember, he did not have “rhinoplasty,” he had nasal septal fracture reconstruction. Basically, his nose was mulch after a direct hit to the middle of his nose during a boxing match. His entire septum needed to be rebuilt as did the middle vault. I used rib cartilage and restructured his bones. The tip needed to be supported, as well. He had a saddle nose at the time we did the rib graft. Now, we have to balance the soft tissue and make the nose look like nothing happened. This will take some work, but he should not need any more operations. More to come...
