sorry for bringing this to you but hey you like twt discourse so! :D please keep in mind that I don't use twt so this might be totally off. those spaces actually scare me a lot? like this sounds a lot like a perfect place to bully people and there had to be a few moderators to react as soon as possible for any harm and that sounds... unlikely. like even if you try to keep it civil it sounds undoable. idk the moment spaces was created I feel strongly negative about it and once in a while there is new drama around it and idk. kinda want to say 'yeah I'm not surprised' kinda want to scream at twt how they even let that happen and kinda want to just take all those kids and talk to them and try to explain them that this is not a way to do it. like, coming up with the weirdest comparison they are like school bathrooms - it's school so it's kinda safe and teachers should react to any bulling but before they reach the toilet from their classroom the damage is done :|
also if I were active techno stan on twt and saw that name I wouldn't join out of spite lol :D this name is so passive-aggressive
nat
Ahdbd oh no I'm known as "liking twt discourse" what have I become (/lh ! my inbox is your oyster)
Anyway, yeah. I'm not saying I have a better solution or even a possible alternative, but it doesn't quite feel like an equal playing ground. I saw one person say that they got kicked out really quickly, and I saw a lot of others agreeing with you - saying that they're not about to join a space full of people that hate them. Which is totally fair
No matter how kind the people hosting are acting, they're the opposition. They're gonna be nitpicking any misspeak, they're gonna weaponize the actions of unrelated members of the community; they're gonna try to convince Technotwt that they're in the wrong. That's what this whole thing is. No matter how productive they're trying to be, the core of it is teenagers telling other teenagers that they're supporting a bad person and that they're bad people for supporting him. It's never gonna be good
