Such a Beautiful Day
Today was one of those days in the middle of a freezing cold month in winter where it was sunny and 75. Literally. Not even like the country song. However I started it sleepy, not wanting to get out of bed and get ready for church. But I did of course, just like I do every Sunday. I trudged my way through the morning making sure I looked presentable, made sure my husband and daughter had cloths laid out for them as they would shortly follow me to church, and barely had enough sense to grab a drink before I walked out the door. But when I finally got outside, I was in awe.
There were birds singing, and it felt more like an April morning than February. The sun was shining, there was a gentle breeze blowing and God was just shining down on the whole earth like “hey, guys, I knew you needed a break from the freezing cold today so here ya go!” I feel like that was just the tune of the whole day. The past few weeks - or more like months, if I’m honest - have just been cold, in more ways than just the weather. My life has been a hurricane, what with being diagnosed with PTSD, personal issues, financial issues, and everything piling up and piling up while I’m just standing by smiling and pretending everything is okay. Just trust God, just trust God, I kept telling myself. And I do, don’t get me wrong. I trust that God is going to take care of everything no matter what. It’s just going to happen on His time line and not mine. But I feel like today was just a warm, beautiful, sunny day. It was a break, in a sense. A break so I can stop, be still, and remember that my God paints the sunset every night, and wakes the sky with beautiful color every morning. My God loves and cares about me, and I know that because of that everything is going to be okay. It may not mean much to somebody else, but it means the world to me.

[Download] You Will Be Found - Natalie Grant Feat. Cory Asbury
Award-winning Curb | Word Entertainment recording artist Natalie Grant put a spiritual stamp on “You Will Be Found” from the celebrated musical-turned-movie Dear Evan Hansen. Enlisting the help of acclaimed singer/songwriter Cory Asbury, Grant’s moving version of the hope-filled ballad is available HERE. “The first time I ever heard this song, I was so overcome with how it just made me think of the message of the Gospel. The lyrics immediately made me think of the love of Jesus and how it has the ability to find every single one of us. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve done, there’s never a moment that you are so far gone that the love of God can’t find you,” Grant says. “I feel like I have the opportunity, not only to let the love of God find me, but to then let the love of God shine through me so I can carry that light and that love to so many people who need to know the message that no matter who you are, when you’re broken and on the ground, you will be found.” You Will Be Found - Natalie Grant Feat.
