“Hey babe. Would you have time to listen to what I have written? I just wanted to know your thoughts about it...” Tamsyn reached out for her husband’s hand to make him sit on the chair beside her. She smiled at him and started strumming on her guitar.
The sound of the few notes of the intro sounded mellow. And after a few more seconds, she started to sing her words. “I’m anchored down to the bottom of the ocean floor. Don’t know how to swim, and lungs now filled with water. If I close my eyes will it all end, or will I realize this nightmare...”
She paused and then looked at him. “So, how was it?” Writing these days became a hard task that eventually felt like a chore for her. Maybe, she should just stop pursuing music. There were other things she could do. She let out a sigh.
“You hated it, didn’t you?” She frowned. “Anyway, how’s school?”
