It was strange coming back to Sweden. How long was it since she last been here? She was not sure if it was 13 years ago, or 15. Regardless, there was a part of her that felt at home in this place. As part of her birthday celebration, she decided to travel for a month throughout Europe. Before coming to Sweden, she already went to Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg, Denmark and Norway.
She saved Sweden for last since she wanted to have an unforgettable experience being back home. The first thing that came into her mind was their old house in Stockholm. There were many memories that she now had a bleak recollection of. Tamsyn shook those thoughts away knowing that she was just visiting. After this, she needed to come back home and put all the things she saw as memories.
While sitting at the train station and waiting for the train to Stockholm to arrive, she entertained herself by listening to music. She looked at the time and it wouldn’t be too long before the train would arrive. She decided to stand up from the bench as she could see the light of the train coming close. Her backpack was a little big that she ended up looking like a kid while carrying it.
As the train stopped, she rushed inside and looked for the seat that she reserved. When she saw that no one was there yet, she smiled. She took her backpack off her back and tried her best to reach the compartment for bags above the seats. She had to tiptoe only to get half of her bag in. Feeling rather tired, she paused but felt rather frustrated and embarrassed since there were other people that wanted to pass by.
