Went to the National Book Festival today and got to see Buzz Aldrin so that was pretty awesome. I'll upload a pick tomorrow when I have time to upload my memory card.

For your situational awareness, I’ll be downtown this evening repping SPX at the National Book Festival
As in years past, SPX is sponsoring the graphic novel pavilion at the NBF. This year we’ve brought along Keith Knight, Miss Lasko-Gross and Diane Noomin to the Festival. The National Book Festival takes place Saturday, September 5, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C.
Schedule & Signings
Keith Knight will be in the Graphic Novel Pavilion, signing his books from 6:00PM-7:00PM, and from 7:15PM - 8:05PM will be on a panel with his fellow cartoonists Lalo Alcaraz and Scott Stantis. This is the panel I’ll be introducing.
Miss Lasko-Gross and Diane Noomin will be in the Graphic Novel Pavilion signing books from 6:00PM-7:00PM, and will be on a panel with Trina Robbins from 8:10PM-8:55PM.
The primary goal of this sponsorship is to bring creators from the indie comics community to the National Book Festival to provide greater exposure for them and their works to the diverse audience that attends this prestigious festival.
As a partner with the Library’s Center for the Book, Small Press Expo looks forward to help promoting their various literacy initiatives and events.
SPX also maintains a permanent collection of independent comics and graphic novels at the Library of Congress, part of our ongoing efforts to promote, preserve and protect the work of independent creators.
SPX 2015
The National Book festival really kicks of the march to SPX 2015. I’ll be be posting a full schedule of events over the next couple of weeks over on the spx Tumblr, with the focal point being the majestic 2015 Small Press Expo, September 19-20th in Bethesda, Maryland.
If any of this sounds like a good time to you, visit spxpo.com for further details.
